2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn’t make any for 2010, but I will make some for 2011-- eat right, exercise, floss more, and quit saying, “I hate…”
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope, not this year
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thank heavens
5. What countries did you visit?
I didn’t leave the country, but hopefully that changes next year! I want to travel more.
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
Stability in life
7. What date(s) from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
February 17 through April 4, and December 16, because I never in a million years would have imagined that I get to experience that kind of happiness
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting my masters degree and landing a killer research position at Stanford
9. What was your biggest failure?
Losing a huge sum of money to these girls, who didn’t know what they were doing when we looked for apartments together. Gah! Thinking about it now makes me furious, so it’s best if I just forget about it. Lesson learned-- don’t trust new people just because they’re nice.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I’ve been suffering from an ever lingering, super unattractive whooping cough.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My iPhone. Seriously, how I ever managed without email and internet on my previous phones is beyond me.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Fred. His amazing art is celebrated in art shows around NYC, and his selected pieces are selling like hot cakes online! I am so proud of him.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
This one person whose chin is severely underdeveloped
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent and transportation-- I can always forgo eating.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!

The Cinema Paradiso theme by Ennio Morricone, or John Mayer’s Continuum album

Wiser? I think so.

Honestly, I really cannot say. 2010 was amazing! I couldn’t have asked for more, because no one is that fortunate.
