In 2021

What did you do last year that you had never done before? Even though the pandemic is still on-going, 2021 was overall an amazing year. Henry was born! He arrived almost 4 weeks early on February 2. I had a C-section. It was the first time I had surgery, and I was pretty scared about it. I remember being wheeled into the operating room, and the nurses laying me down on the operating table while I stared at the bright, white lights above. I was shaking with nerves. Thankfully, it was a quick and smooth procedure. Henry came out as a whopping 7 pounds 2 ounces preemie, and Chris stayed with me at the hospital the entire time. Because of COVID, he was not allowed to come back if he left the building, so my parents watched Jubilee for 3 days and 2 nights. I’ve never missed her more. I cried every night missing her terribly. Just reflecting on it now is making me emotional. Anyway, I have tremendously enjoyed being mom to a little boy, and it’s been a lot of fun watching him grow and learn
